I have had the pleasure of knowing Cole through various activities in high school including marching/jazz/pep band, drama and being on the Annual staff. Back in May, I was able to shoot some his Junior
prom pics as well. This last Sunday, I met up with him and his younger brother, Jesse to take his Senior photos. His mom wanted some quick shots of the brothers together so at the end, Jesse jumped in and I got some great shots of the both of them.

We found some cool props.

Here's the infamous Bailey.... the one who referred so many of my Seniors to me. This past weekend, I was finally able to take her senior portraits. She's such a ball of fun, for real and is always laughing or talking it up. Bailey is also an extremely talented actress and an amazing singer. She once got callbacks for
Spring Awakening and had the opportunity to go to New York to do so. How cool is that?
This first photo is actually an outtake from my session with the
Jouanneteau sisters. Bailey tagged along and while we were waiting for them to change, I took this.

She loves shoes.

Ahh, I love this.

We had so much fun with these cardboard boxes.

I've known Nghia for the majority of my existence. And it's unbelievable to me that he is now a Senior in high school. It just makes me feel so old and wonder to myself, how is it possible that time has passed so quickly? How is possible that I'm growing up so fast? That we're growing up so fast? I'll stop myself there before I go on a tangent.
Nghia and I, along with a lot of my other close friends, all grew up together in our local Vietnamese church. He's a hilarious kid and can always, always make you laugh. He says the most comical things! Nghia is a Senior at Capital this year and I know that he'll be really successful in the future as he grows up to be a Millionaire and own a Lambo. Also, if you need a Math tutor, get at him. ;)
Nghia is in color... not sure what age this was... but I thought I'd share this. Isn't it the cutest photo ever?

Nghia's also super tall... but he is a quarter Caucasian.

Tacoma
I remember when Han was younger. I never actually knew her- only saw her in the Tacoma Youth Group or playing piano for the church. She has grown up to be a gorgeous lady, don't you think? I had a blast hanging out with her, Thanh and their friend Esther. Han went along with
Thanh when I took her senior portraits last week and then after I finished, Han said she wanted to get her portraits done by me as well! I was stoked. We met at Anthony's by Tacoma's waterfront but Han wanted more of an urban feel. So we headed to the historic area of Tacoma... to be honest, I really had no idea where I was going but we ended up finding some really beautiful spots.
I hope you love these girl!

Love thiss

This image definitely stood out to me... the red really makes her pop.

I met Megan last week while photographing
Michelle's senior portraits. At the end of Michelle's session, Megan said she was interested in having hers taken by me as well so we met today at Tumwater Falls for her session. In turn, Michelle also came along so I took a few shots of them together. When it came to posing and everything, Megan was definitely a natural. She was totally comfortable in her own skin and did her thing. Can I just say that I love her hair? I wish my hair could have such beautiful waves! For real. Hope you love these! :)

Cathy and I have never actually set out a date to go out and take senior pictures for just her. Whenever we hang out out with the rest of the girls, I always bring my camera and I just happen to take gorgeous photos of her... but with her, it's kind of effortless. We really don't need to go out with just her and I and take photos. I did take some rep photos of her back in May when we were with the rest of the girls in the youth group. You can see some of those
here.
This past weekend, I went down to Portland with the whole youth group to photograph a
wedding. I have yet to post more of those photos but the Sunday after, we hung out in Portland and I happened to catch some beautiful pictures of her. Love it- she's the best.

Ellie definitely impressed me when she opted to go through with her appointment this morning despite the fact that she suddenly felt sick this morning with a sore throat and runny nose. By the time we met up though, she was feeling a lot better and if she hadn't said anything, I would never have guessed that she was not feeling well. She was literally all smiles and giggles the whole time we were shooting. My kinda girl. She told me she was nervous but girl, you were awesome! Her sister Caitlin tagged along and the three of us had fun. They told me they had practiced her smiles before. There was a Smile 1 and a Smile 2. Perfect! I should do that with all my Seniors!
I got to know Ellie a bit my senior year when I joined Key Club. Ellie is a Senior this year at Black Hills and I'm pretty positive she's still involved with Key Club, despite the fact that she's doing full-time
Running Start. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to take your senior portraits! :) You were fantastical.
