Hannah Class of '11 | Portraits

Hannah is my 2011 Senior Rep for Capital High School. We met on a lazy Sunday afternoon (meaning the both of us were yawning the whole time haha!), but we both still managed to have a blast despite the hot weather! We started out at Priest Point Park and then Hannah had the greatest idea of taking photos in the library. I have always wanted to do this and I was so stoked that she was game. We had some good times sneaking around the library and capturing these frames.

Jude | Senior Portraits

Yesterday was a hectic day for me. After church I headed downtown for a family session; I came home, blogged about them (I amaze myself sometimes), and then rushed to Priest Point for a senior session with Jude. Jude saw my work with the Krazy 8 Portraits and emailed me afterwards. I didn't get a chance to blog about them today, sorry for the delay. She will be a Senior this Fall at Olympia High School. I asked her what she wanted to do after graduating and she said she wanted to be an Animal Cruelty Officer. That's pretty neat, if you ask me. She's been wanting to do that since the 4th grade and her mind hasn't changed since then. That must be a sign. ;) Also, Jude is a pretty sweet name if you ask me. She has a gorgeous smile and her eyes are awesome. I especially love the last image posted here. It was the last one I took on the session too. I need to work on close- ups, but I really dig it.

Levine Siblings | Portraits

Jessica and I graduated in the same class. I actually got the chance to photograph some of her senior portraits so she gave me some of the experience that I have now! ;) She wanted some photos with her siblings, Alex and Amanda, for their parents so today we headed to Priest Point as well as the Capitol Building area to take some photos. It was pretty humid today, which made us sweat a lot quicker than we had anticipated.

I've so behind on editing photos (what's new huh?) But it is very exciting all the photo gigs I've been getting. Thanks so much to all who continue to support me and spread the word about me. Words can't express how much it means to me.

Trinh + Hieu | Day After

Co Trinh and Chu Hieu have been married (by law) for a little over a year, but have not had their official wedding ceremony yet. They had to sign the papers early so that Chu Hieu could stay in the States while they continued courting. He is originally from Canada. Co Trinh told me that she won't feel married until their ceremony, which is taking place in September. These photos are officially termed 'Day After', but in a sense they are also their engagement photos. I will only be posting these few photos (unless I get further official permission from them ha ha). I wasn't sure if they wanted people to see her dress (which is gorgeous btw)...

We went on a almost 3 hour shoot yesterday afternoon. It was a total blast. I will probably never, ever get a bride like Trinh again because she was intense! We went to Priest Point Park where she made the hike down the forest to get to the beach area. Then we went to the Falls Park where she climbed down rocks, barefoot, carrying her dress to take photos... I was absolutely floored. Chu Hieu was so worried; it was actually kind of cute. She was amazing.

We might go shooting again in two weeks down in Portland, since that's where they live. They want more 'serious' photos. The two of them were so goofy (according to Chu Hieu) on this shoot, but we still got some awesome photos.

I can't wait 'til their wedding! It'll be my third. :)
