Well, I'm back from Seattle and getting back on the work bandwagon. So much for a break. The past weekend didn't really help me de-stress at all. It was a nice break from the editing screen though. To get things started up again, here is Tim! I've had the privilege of photographing him before so it was great to meet up with him again for his senior portraits. I had a great time with Tim-- he was super easy to work with. At the end of the session his girlfriend, Alexis, showed up for a few frames. These two are adorable! Thanks for a fun session Tim :)

Melissa is one of the girls in the youth group from my home church. So of course, I asked her to be my Senior Rep for North Thurston High School. I loved her bright blue dress! (I highly recommend bright colors if you want your portraits to stand out.) Here are a few frames from her session. A few words about what her session involved: cold weather, sprinkles, trespassing, and being real sneaky about it! ;) It started pouring right when I dropped her off so we made good time. I can't wait to photograph her this summer for her 'real' senior portraits!

Yesterday, I was a madwoman shooting four sessions and in-between running home to unload cards and grab some food. On top of that, I had just acquired a cold.... BUT despite all of that, I got some rad sessions in.
Melissa, one of the girls from my youth group, asked me a bit ago to take some portraits of her and her friends on Homecoming day and I was more than happy to oblige. These kids were looking sharp, I dare say. I love Homecoming and all the fun that goes with it!
Here are some previews- I will have all of them on my
Flickr in the next few days. Hope you kids had fun!

I met Megan last week while photographing
Michelle's senior portraits. At the end of Michelle's session, Megan said she was interested in having hers taken by me as well so we met today at Tumwater Falls for her session. In turn, Michelle also came along so I took a few shots of them together. When it came to posing and everything, Megan was definitely a natural. She was totally comfortable in her own skin and did her thing. Can I just say that I love her hair? I wish my hair could have such beautiful waves! For real. Hope you love these! :)

Cathy and I have never actually set out a date to go out and take senior pictures for just her. Whenever we hang out out with the rest of the girls, I always bring my camera and I just happen to take gorgeous photos of her... but with her, it's kind of effortless. We really don't need to go out with just her and I and take photos. I did take some rep photos of her back in May when we were with the rest of the girls in the youth group. You can see some of those
here.
This past weekend, I went down to Portland with the whole youth group to photograph a
wedding. I have yet to post more of those photos but the Sunday after, we hung out in Portland and I happened to catch some beautiful pictures of her. Love it- she's the best.
